“Look at this.” I urged everyone outside. Me, Hubbie, baby girl. I was holding baby boy.

“We are but a speck against that.”

Hubbie: “What do you mean?”

Me: “Our problems are insignificant in the scheme of things. Don’t worry. Let’s just enjoy the fact we get to live this.”

#2439 Choc-dipped strawberries

I think I’ve just found a new pregnancy craving, as well as a new addiction.

Yes, I have a list. Of pregnancy cravings that is.

Currently hot, salted chips are on the menu. This was the same craving I had with baby girl, so this one seems to be a pregnancy stayer.

Anything salty. Really, I love salt.

Oranges… I can eat the fruit whole, very easily, actually any kind of orange-y thing really.

I drink OJ like I’ve been walking parched in a desert, and other juices will do too…

Crunchy nut cornflakes. I know, totally random. I never even ate this before in my life, but then my old acupuncturist mentioned it on social media when I was in early pregnancy, and this did not leave my mind!

And now after tonight, chop-dipped strawberries!

Mmmm hmmm!

I saw these on the social media pages of the place where Hubbie works. I mentioned I was really interested in them earlier in the week, but then reminded him again last night…

Thankfully he can read my mind, and had bought them before I even mentioned it, surprising me last night. πŸ™πŸ˜

Tonight while watching the Black and White, I feasted on these strawberries. OMG, so good! You just know when you are eating good quality chocolate, and when I bit in, I just knew, it tasted amazing.

And with this dessert/snack you can just eat and eat and eat… because it’s just strawberries really (albeit with a tiny bit of chocolate!) and so you don’t really feel heavy or full or anything.

Just really happy, and baby agreed with a few kicks. πŸ‘ΆπŸ’–

#2401 Sunset time

You know what time it is…

Sunset time. 🀣

The sky was all yellow/orange tonight. It made me think of the many people that will pass through our house very soon, and the beautiful view we can share with them… not just of the sky, but of life. πŸ™πŸ˜

#2346 Poetry slam part 2

Part 2 of my poetry slam.

Rainbows followed me around today –

everywhere I looked, like the one from our lounge room window

guiding me through school drop off, where a full one awaited me as I drove off.

Nether-regions are where these rays of light come from,

absent of destination, time and routine, without limits.

‘No rain, no rainbow’ is what they say, and only in the presence of rain can such beauty be seen.

Then at the end of the day, the sky turned orange, and the world was good and shining, still. πŸ™

#2330 Fire in the sky

Here is the progress of tonight’s sunset.

From warming colours, to fanning flames on the horizon. Sometimes Mother Nature mirrors to us what’s in our hearts, without us realising at all.

A tempered flicker, or a raging fire… or something in between. Which one are you?

I loved the sunset this evening.

It shone bright orange, bursting orange rays into the west side of our house, being our bedroom and the lounge room.

It was as vibrant as an orange starburst, casting an orange glow over the rooms as if there were artificial light.

But it wasn’t fake. It was mother nature putting on a show. The real deal. πŸ˜πŸŒ‡
